I’m not a millennial preaching the benefits of “matcha-vegan- celery-juice”. I’m not going to Instagram myself doing some gravity defying yoga pose. I’m just a woman, in my 50s, who gets it.

TAKE MY HAND, YOU CAN DO THIS!

I get that many women my age suddenly realize that they’ve been spending DECADES focusing on everyone but themselves. I get that sometimes you just want to tuck your top into your skinny jeans and love the woman looking back at you. And I want to tell you, I know first hand, that it is possible to have the confidence and wellbeing you want.
Because it wasn’t always like this

In my early adulthood I was a lean gym bunny. Yup. I thought I knew EVERYTHING there was to know about nutrition and fitness, while eating chocolate (my favourite) and never gaining a pound.

Fast-forward a decade or so and my hormones (and waistline!) started to change. I started to develop the “hormonal sugar belly.”

And so I did what so many women do – I restricted my eating. I wasted time going to the gym. I hopped from fad diet to fad diet, hoping to get the results I wanted. But they were always short lived.

And finally I said “ENOUGH!” and took a deep dive into everything hormone and metabolism related – and I mean it when I say “It changed my life.”

Because it wasn’t always like this

But I’ve learned the secret to enjoying it (and wine and pizza) and keeping the pounds off.

I now empower other women to never yo-yo again; to embrace a healthier, happier lifestyle that works for them. That’s why I got into this business and that’s what I want for all my clients.

Two humans and one dog, that is. My kids are grown now and off living their lives. I know how it can feel to have an empty nest and realize you’ve spent x number of years focusing on everyone BUT yourself. Sometimes the quiet helps you realize the things you want to change.

I'M A CRAZY DOG LADY

My absolute favorite form of exercise is walking my golden retriever, Joey. In fact, he’s the CSO at FLOWfit (Chief Snuggle Officer). Does he sleep in my bed at night? You bet!

I'M POLISH AND IT SHOWS

…in the kitchen that is! Cabbage rolls, pierogi, kielbasa and anything that is cooked in bacon fat, garlic and onions is my idea of home cooking. i don’t speak Polish, but i hope to one day!

Friends, The Office, and my favourite, Seinfeld. I love to end the day laughing … the sillier the better…I’m not a great joke teller but I could listen to someone tell me jokes for hours. Yada, yada, yada.
